RTO PPC and SEO Digital Marketing
Over the years and in the shadows of dodgy training providers, the Australian Skills Quality Assurance (ASQA) has developed rigorous standard that RTO’s have to abide by when marketing to consumers.
This adds a level of complexity to how marketers promote and advertise courses and qualifications within the RTO realm. Codes need to be displayed and certain language is forbidden to ensure no misleading statements are made.
Where does that leave RTO’s when the landscape is becoming more competitive and more compliant heavy, leading to profit margins being eaten away?
It’s simple really, paid channels need to be optimised and continually monitored, none of this set and forget business. If your marketing team or agency is not obsessed with data and the user flow through your digital channels, I’d be questioning their effectiveness.
At Nectar Digital Marketing Agency, we are obsessed with Google Advertising and SEO. Combined, these two are some of the most important tactics in a digital marketers tool kit. Google advertising, or PPC commonly referred to in industry, is a quick way to get results, with enough data within one month of launch the campaign to optimise.
Whereas SEO, whilst takes longer to implement and is not as instance, will provide a longer term benefit. The first six months of work will be reaped over the next 18 to 24 months, reducing PPC spend and increasing organic results.
Together these two tactics are the bare minimum RTO’s should be considering when marketing their programs. Social media and email marketing are also beneficial channels, though should not be added into the mix until PPC and SEO are running like a well oiled machine and tweaks are being made where necessary at weekly reviews.
